Babylotse supports young parents
with a baby starter package

Did you know that more than 13,000 children are born in Frankfurt every year? Around a quarter of mothers and families need advice and support before and after birth regarding their new life situation. Here is where we stepped in! We collected donations across all offices in the CORESTATE Capital Group to finance baby starter packages for the Kinderschutzbund’s “Babylotse program”. The program supports young families during pregnancy, childbirth and early childhood. Especially qualified “Babylotsen” advice families free of charge all year round at maternity clinics by organising help, addressing health problems and issues like social counselling and parental benefits. The program’s Babylotsen meet with families who often lack the necessities for their baby. The CORESTATE Foundation supported the Babylotse program by providing families in need with a baby starter package which includes essential items needed when starting a family life.

How we helped

The CORESTATE Capital Group matched every Euro that was donated by our employees. We thus managed to raise about € 5,000 for the baby starter packages. The donations enabled the Kinderschutzbund to provide 50 families in need with an initial care package for their newborn as part of their „Babylotse“ project.
